Founders’ Day Celebration:
On 20th June 2009 we celebrated Foundar’s Day. On this auspicious event a power point presentation was displayed by the Kannada and computer departments regarding the life history of our late Shri Manmaharaja Niranjana Jagadguru Dr. Rajayogeendra Mahaswamiji. Oath Taking Ceremony: The new student leaders of the college for the year 2009-10 took their oath of office in a ceremony held on 8th Aug 2009. The event was coordinated by the student welfare department and was hosted by the student counsel. It was graced upon by the principal prof. Shobha B Hittalamani, who gave a inspirational message to the elected student leaders. Inaugural Function of curricular and extracurricular activities: Our college inaugural function form the academic year 2009-10 was held on 19th Aug 2009. The chief guest was Prof. K R Narasimhan, Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Dharwad. While addressing the students he advised that acquiring the knowledge should be the main aim of the students and also said that in ancient time women were more respected but in present days women have acquired high position in every field. Students should have high potential ability to face the new challenges. On this occasion students welcomed the guest with folk musical instruments. We distributed prizes to the students who secured highest marks in the final year exams of PUC and degree classes. The honorary chairman Shri G M Chikkamath of SJMV Sangha, Hubli, gave the presidential remarks.
